Your First Visit to Our Spring Hill Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

The moment you enter Patterson Chiropractic Center, you will be greeted by a warm, friendly environment.  One of our staff members will ask for information that is needed for your file (i.e.:  driver’s license, insurance information).  You will be given a New Patient folder and we will review the paperwork with you.  After the necessary paperwork is completed, we’ll even show you around the office so that you will feel right at home.

The next stop is the consultation room.  We will provide you with some information about how and why we do things, and then Dr. Patterson will meet with you.  He will want to know about your current health issues and what we can do to help you.  He will ask you some questions, and he will want to answer any questions that you have.

Dr. Patterson will then guide you to the examination room, and perform a thorough examination to determine the precise care needed.  The examination will consist of several assessments to show Dr. Patterson where you have disturbances in your nervous system or other problems.  We use state of the art technology to accurately assess your problems.  The tests are painless.

If X-rays are needed, Dr. Patterson will escort you to the x-ray room.  Several images may be taken at this time.  X-rays are used to reveal the structure and alignment of the spine and confirm other examination findings.  Once the x-rays have been taken, you will return to the examination room.

After a short wait, Dr. Patterson will return and answer any other questions you may have.  Sometimes care can begin right away.  However, if your test results require Dr. Patterson to perform a more detailed analysis or coordinate information from several different tests, we will most likely schedule you for a second visit to review the findings in detail with the doctor.  The front desk will assist you in scheduling a time for your second visit…usually the next day!

Dr. Paul Asks some important questions of interest to Spring Hill residents - Chiropractor Spring Hill Dr. Paul Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
